 Unit 6: Getting around the hotel and hotel facilities. 

Grammar: Be going to - Present continuous - Will

What's the difference in meaning?
  1. I'm going to visit Raquel tomorrow morning.
  2. I'll visit Raquel in the morning.
  3. I'm visiting Raquel tomorrow at 8 o'clock.
  4. Raquel's shop closes at 8 o'clock
Choose:
  • A specific personal plan or arrangement. A definite 'diary' arrangement.The time is usually mentioned.
  • A planned decision or intention because the speaker has already decided to phone.
  • To indicate that a future event is scheduled. Something is “scheduled” when it is on a timetable.
  • A spontaneous decision. The speaker is making a sudden decision (at the time of speaking).







Identify verbs:
  • Laura is studying now.
  • She usually finishes at 7 o'clock.
  • My mother is visiting her sister at 8 tomorrow.
  • The train leaves at 8 o'clock PM
  • They forgot their homework at home last Monday.
  • The sun is shining now. It is going to be very hot today.
Unit 7
Future and First Conditional
 
You can use the the first conditional to talk about:
  • predictions
  • superstitions
  • future plans
  • warnings & threats, and offers & suggestions. 
These are things that are real, so this conditional is also called the future real conditional.

What will happen if ....

  • you don’t study?
  • you win the lottery? 
  • you break a mirror? You / 7 years of bad luck
  • you find a four-leaf clover? you/good luck
  • you don’t come to my birthday? Never speak/again
  • you say that again? I / hurt
  • I go shopping tomorrow? I/go/you
  • I have an extra ticket? I/concert/you
